..must be wondering why - well, I am a parent now - My bub is a month old today - from the minute he is born I have been forced to understand and conquer the world of wisdom from a totally different perspective. I say 'forced to' because, well I am forced to - in fact all parents are 'forced to' learn and adjust to everything, from the time their babies are 'babies' to their babies are 'BABIES'!!
Now that he taught me lots of stuff in a month, I wonder how much I am going to learn in the next coming days -> months -> years. It would be unfair if I don't mention how wonderful it is to keep discovering amazing stuff about this phase of one's life along with this little rascal.
Kids in their own way teach us so many lessons. One big lesson and a way too quick on my way to learn was - "everyone has a mind of their own and one must respect that".I was taught this precious lesson by my baby last night - way too tired into the day, I wanted to catch some extra sleep. So, I very conveniently pushed his feeding time an hour before the schedule - I was promptly answered with a puke all over my dress. He has his time set by him, he has a brain of his own, he has his stomach tuned by him. Now, its all 'his' - hunger, brain, stomach and of course that puke too!
So many more practical lessons to attend to!! No wonder my parents are so wise too.. :) They all surely owe me a lot!! :)
